Men’s Soccer Set to Host Walk-On Tryouts

BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic University men's soccer team will hold open tryouts on Wednesday, February 22 from 10:30 a.m. to noon. All participants at the tryout must be full-time students at FAU (12 credit hours for undergraduate, nine for graduate students).
A doctor's appointment is mandatory in completing the process. Those interested in trying out must complete the following steps.
1. Fill out all necessary forms. The tryout/walk-on paperwork can be accessed here.
2. Obtain clearance from the FAU athletic training staff. Following completion of the above paperwork, take the filled-out forms to the office of head athletic trainer Craig Wilder in the FAU training room located on the first floor of the Tom Oxley Center on February 15 between 1:20-2:30 p.m. Paperwork must be submitted on this date.
3. Receive clearance from the FAU compliance office. After an FAU athletic trainer signs off on the forms, take the completed sheets to the compliance office located on the fifth floor of the FAU Football Stadium. The staff will review your forms and give you the clear to tryout if all the requirements are satisfied.
Prospective athletes should begin the process of creating an NCAA Eligibility Center account prior to the tryout: https://web3.ncaa.org/ecwr3/.
