BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic University women's soccer team will travel to Houston to take on Rice in a Conference USA match on Thursday, Sept. 29, at 8 p.m. eastern. The Owls vs. Owls matchup marks the fourth C-USA contest this year for FAU.

- FAU is looking to get back on track after a tie against UTSA and a loss at UAB last week
- A strong point this season has been the Owls' defense. FAU is ranked third in the conference in goals allowed with 12 over 12 games. In the last 11 games, FAU has surrendered only eight goals

- The Owls are winners of their last three matches, which were all conference games
- Rice ranks fourth in the conference in scoring with 18 goals, led by Bella Killgore's four scores

- The last meeting came in 2019, when FAU took a 3-2 victory
