BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic University men's soccer team will welcome North Florida to town on Tuesday for a midweek non-conference matchup.
ABOUT THE OWLS
- The Owls enter Tuesday's matchup with UNF sporting a 1-3-2 record
- FAU drew 1-1 with South Florida in their conference opener on Friday
- After falling behind 1-0 in the first half, Graeme Pratt scored the equalizer with a header off a free kick in the 53rd minute
- For Pratt, a true fourth-year senior, it was his first career goal
- Spencer Mallion provided the assist – his second of the season
- Neil Strauber returned in goal and finished with three saves
- Strauber moved into fifth place in program history in goalkeeper minutes – he is already fourth in shots faced and third in wins
ABOUT THE OSPREYS
- UNF enters Tuesday still searching for its first win of 2022
- The Ospreys dropped a 2-0 contest to Stetson on Saturday at home
- The Ospreys' last goal came in an August 29 2-1 loss at UCF
- UNF is 0-1 in the ASUN conference so far after a 2-0 loss to Central Arkansas on September 10
- Junior midfielder Angus Taylor scored the Ospreys' goal in the UCF match – the team's only goal so far this season
- Sixth-year senior Padraic Gilley has started all six games so far in goal
