Cadeac Claims C-USA Golfer of Week Honors

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Clemence Cadeac has been named the Conference USA Women's Golfer of the Week presented by Blenders Eyewear, the league announced on Wednesday.

In her FAU debut, Cadeac finished tied for second at the William & Mary Fall Invitational on Tuesday. The graduate senior from Toulouse, France opened with rounds of 71 and 69 on Monday and closed with an even-par 72 in the final round on Tuesday to post -4 for the event. Cadeac racked up 11 birdies in the two days – third most in the field of 60 competitors.

"Clemence played very solid in her first start as an Owl," noted head women's golf coach Heather Bowie Young. "Her course management and game management were some of the best I have seen by a collegiate player. I'm looking forward to her next start in a few weeks."

FAU women's golf is back in action in South Carolina on September 23 at the Furman Lady Paladin Invitational.
