BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic University's women's tennis, ranked No. 66 nationally, will play their final two matches of the season this week, both on the road. FAU ranked No. 68 in the latest ITA poll will be led by
Martina Kudelova, who is the reigning Conference USA Player of the Week.
FAU will first travel to Miami where they will face host FIU on Friday, April 8 at noon. The Owls will then play in Tampa at USF on Sunday, April 10 at noon.
FAU's record stands at 11-9 on the season and the Owls finished their home season at 7-2. FIU enters the match with a 15-3 dual match record. USF holds a 5-13 record and the Owls are 6-3 all-time versus the Bulls. FAU won last year's match 6-1.
The Owls have finished every season since 2011 with double-digit wins except the shortened 2020 season. Four members of the six everyday singles players have reached the 10-win singles mark, with
Katerina Filip holding 12 and
Millie-Mae Matthews tallying 11.
