Owls Set to Take On C-USA Championship

TEXARKANA, Ark. – The Florida Atlantic University men's golf team heads to Western Arkansas on Monday for the Conference USA Championship. The Owls, coming off a win in their last event, will be the fourth-highest ranked team in the field according to GolfStat rankings. The tournament will feature 13 teams and 65 competitors.

The Course
Texarkana Country Club will play as a 6,969-yard par-72. The course features 10 par-fours, four par-fives, and four par-threes. TCC is located about an hour north of Shreveport, La. on the Arkansas-Texas border. Other than the 2020 event which was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Texarkana CC has hosted the C-USA Championship every year since 2014.The Field

The Format
The C-USA Championship will consist of 54 holes of stroke play (18 per day, Monday-Wednesday). On Thursday, the top four finishing teams will compete in a seeded match play playoff to determine a team champion.The Starting Five

What's on the Line
The Conference USA Champion will receive the League's automatic bid to the NCAA Men's Golf Regionals. The individual medalist will also receive a bid to Regionals if they are not on the championship team.Tee Times
