MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – Florida Atlantic men's golf begins its fall season on Sunday at the Myrtle Beach Golf Trips Intercollegiate. The three-day, 54-hole event is hosted by Coastal Carolina. The Owls are the defending champions, coming away with a nine-shot victory to open last year's fall schedule.
The Lineup
- Preston Worch: Worch is a senior transfer after competing for three seasons at UNC – Wilmington. The Delray Beach native recorded three Top 10s and helped the Seahawks reach an NCAA Regional in 2025-26.
- NaShawn Tyson: Tyson is back for his senior season after leading the Owls in birdies (117) and rounds of par or better (17) in 2025-26. Tyson closed his junior season in style, winning the PGA WORKS Collegiate Championship in May. The Stuart, Fla. native has an individual win in back-to-back seasons and is looking to become the third player in program history to win three or more events.
- Tristan Rhodenizer: One of four freshmen on the roster, Rhodenizer will make his collegiate debut in Myrtle Beach.
- Christian Veilleux: Veilleux earned himself a regular role in the lineup late last spring. He competed in six events as a sophomore, with his best finish coming at the American Conference Championship (49th).
- Ian Soderholm: Soderholm returns to the lineup after missing all of 2025-26 with an injury. As a freshman in 2024, he tied for 27th in his collegiate debut in this event.
