Ballard to Direct FAU’s SASC

BOCA RATON, Fla. – LaToya "Toya" Ballard has been named Florida Atlantic University's senior associate athletics director/academics and student development, as announced by Brian White, FAU's vice president and director of athletics, on Wednesday.
Ballard returns to Florida after nearly 15 years of work in similar roles at institutions such as Oklahoma, Georgia Tech, Florida State and Mississippi State. In her position with FAU, she will have oversight of the Student-Athlete Success Center (SASC). The center is located in the Schmidt Family Complex for Academic and Athletic Excellence and is the hub for student-athletes to continue the FAU Athletics culture of academic success.
