FAU Ready for Tiger Invitational

OPELIKA, ALA. – The FAU men's golf team will compete in the Tiger Invitational, hosted by Auburn from Sunday, March 6 to Tuesday, March 8.

Course Information

Tee time on each day will be between 7 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. central time. The Auburn Tiger Invitational is hosted at the Grand National Golf Club in Opelika, Alabama. The course is a par 72, 7,289-yard course.

The Owls will be sending a lineup of Alex Maguire, Max Sturdza, Juan Delgado, Jake Hibbert and Guilherme Grinberg to the course.

Owls' Last Time Out

FAU's last tourney was the Florida Gators' Invitational in February, and the Owls were led by Delgado. Delgado finished one-under par with a weekend score of 209, which was good for 13^th place out of 78 golfers. Delgado finished the weekend strong, shooting a two-under par in round three.

Maguire captured 19^th place with a one-over score (211) on the weekend.

Competing Teams

Competing this weekend will be No. 17 Auburn, Florida Atlantic, Florida Gulf Coast, Georgia State, James Madison, Kennesaw State, Lamar, Louisiana Tech, Missouri, North Alabama, UNC-Wilmington, South Alabama, Southern Miss, No. 21 Vanderbilt, Western Kentucky and Wichita State.
