FAU to Host Final Home Match of 2022

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic University's women's tennis, ranked No. 66 nationally, will play host to Brown on Wednesday, March 30 at 11:30 a.m.
The Owls enter the match with a 10-9 record and will put that on the line versus Brown, who enters the match with a 6-8 record. It will be the third meeting between the two schools, with Brown holding the all-time edge at 2-1. FAU last defeated Brown in 2006.
FAU is 6-2 at home in 2022. The Owls will try to use the home court to their advantage as they continue to build experience prior to the Conference USA Championship scheduled for April 22-25 at Middle Tennessee.
Three Owls have tallied double-digit wins in 2022 despite their strength of schedule and playing 11 of their 19 matches away from Paradise. Junior Katerina Filip has the squad's top record at 11-3 in dual match play. Freshman Millie-Mae Matthews also has 11 wins, but she has suffered six losses. Fellow freshman Lexi Silna will bring a 10-4 record into the match.

FAU will play its final two regular-season matches of 2022 on the road. The Owls will first travel to FIU where they will play on Friday, April 8th and will then face cross-state foe USF on Sunday, April 10. Both matches are at noon.
