BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic University's women's tennis, ranked No. 63 nationally, will play host to Yale on Sunday, March 20 at 11 a.m.
The Owls have proved dominant at home, holding a 6-1 home court record, with the team's only blemish coming at the hands of a higher ranked VCU. FAU's overall record stands at 10-7.
The two teams have previously met seven times, with Yale holding the 4-3 edge. The last meeting between the two came on March 8, 2020, shortly before the season was ended due to the outbreak of COVID-19. FAU fell 4-3 in that match. In fact, the last two meetings were Yale 4-3 wins. FAU's
Martina Kudelova recorded a 6-2,-6-4 win in that match on court three. The redshirt junior will work to have a similar result on Sunday. Kudelova is the only 2022 Owl that was on the team in 2020.
