BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic University women's tennis team played their third match in as many days, all lasting nearly four hours and one that was played during a howling Saturday wind. FAU won the weekend's first two matches, but fell 6-1 to Houston, on Sunday.
Katerina Filip was the Owls' lone victor with a 6-4, 6-3 win on court two. Filip earned her 10th win of the season, joining Lexi Silna (10-4) and Millie-Mae Matthews (10-6), who recorded their 10th victories yesterday. Flilip moved her winning streak to seven-consecutive matches.
