BOCA RATON, Fla. – After a few weeks off from competition, the Florida Atlantic University women's golf team is back in action, this time at the Clover Cup Invitational at the Longbow Golf Club in Mesa, Arizona. The tournament, hosted by Notre Dame, features 17 total teams, eight of which are in the top 50, and will begin tomorrow and carry into Sunday afternoon.
Rosa Barnak will be the first Owl to tee off at 8 a.m.

- FAU finished eighth out of 14 teams at the Reynolds Lake Oconee Invitational with a total score of 912
- In the second round, the Owls shot a 293, which was the lowest in the field. This helped the team jump ahead seven spots to tie for third going into the final round on the course
- Letizia Bagnoli led the Owls after tying for 18th with a total score of 223 (76-73-74). The senior is ranked No. 105 in the country
- Kacey Walker showcased a great outing with a 225 after tallying a 73 and 74 in the second and third rounds, respectively
- Blanka Decker ended in the top 50 (234). Her 74 and 73 in the first and second rounds paced the Owls
The Owls will take a week off before hitting the course once again, this time in Chattanooga, Tennessee for the Chattanooga Classic at the Council Fire Golf Course.
