LYNCHBURG, Va. – The FAU women's swimming & diving team competed in day three of the Conference USA Championships on Friday. As a team, the Owls stand in fourth place with 380 points.
Alicia Mora dove to a score of 317.55 in the 1-meter dive, which is a new FAU school record. Mora topped
Malvina Catalano's previous record of 306.50. That placed Mora on the podium at third and is her second FAU record in as many days. She broke the record in the 3-meter yesterday.
Maggie Casey swam to a sixth-place finish in the 200 free, clocking in at 1:50.71. Right behind Casey was
Kasia Szlek who took seventh and touched the wall at 1:51.44.
Taking fifth in the 100 back was
Roberta Circi. Circi timed in at 54.68.
Riley Trout finished in seventh at 55.39.
FAU will look to finish strong in the final day of the Conference USA Championships tomorrow.
