EATONTON, Ga. – The Florida Atlantic University women's golf team wrapped up play at the Great Waters Golf Course and will travel back to Florida having finished eighth of out 14 teams. FAU earned scores of 310, 293 (lowest of all teams in that round) and 309 in the first, second and third rounds, respectively. Finishing +48 put the Owls just one stroke behind a tie for sixth place with Delaware and East Carolina. Letizia Bagnoli led the Owls to finish tied for 14th, seven over par.

"We showed that our good golf can compete with anyone as we were the best in the field on day two," said head coach Heather Young. "We will continue to work on being more consistent on the days when we do not have our best stuff. We are learning and growing every time we compete and that is a good thing. Go Owls!"

Bagnoli tallied a tie for 14th place out of 80 golfers with a score of 223, while Walker was just two strokes behind her at 225 to claim a five-way tie for 18th
