Owls Meet Eagles in Final Non-Conference Clash

FORT MYERS, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic University men's soccer (3-6-3) team will travel to Fort Myers on Tuesday for a meeting with Florida Gulf Coast (4-2-4) in the final non-conference match of the regular season.
ABOUT THE OWLS
- The Owls will look to rebound after a 1-0 defeat to Temple on Friday night
- For FAU, the key this season has been getting on the board at least once
- The Owls are 3-0-3 this season when they score at least one goal
- They had several chances to do so on Friday against Temple – FAU launched 18 shot attempts with six on target
- Neil Strauber made four stops and is now sixth all-time for FAU in goalkeeper saves (145) and second in goals against average (1.33)
ABOUT THE EAGLES
- FGCU is 4-2-4 overall and 1-1-3 in the ASUN
- Among common opponents with FAU, the Eagles played to 0-0 draws with both USF and North Florida – FGCU still has FIU and Stetson on their schedule for later this season
- Senior midfielder Davi Alves leads the Eagles with four goals and one assist
