Dean Named to AAC Honor Roll for Second Straight Week

BOCA RATON, Fla. – For the second straight week, Florida Atlantic men's soccer midfielder Blake Dean has been named to the American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll, the league announced on Monday. It's also the third consecutive week and fourth time this season that an FAU player has earned conference recognition.

Dean was instrumental in the Owls' 2-2 draw against No. 13 Charlotte on Sunday night. The Englewood, Fla. native sparked the late comeback with a goal in the 81st minute. Just over four minutes later, he provided the assist as Andreas Raisanen scored the equalizer.

FAU men's soccer is tied for fourth in the AAC standings with four games to go in the regular season. Next up is a home matchup with Temple on Friday. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
