Fifth and sixth consecutive road contests are in Austin, Texas
BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic University women's tennis team (2-2) has played four-consecutive matches on the road and will complete the season-opening gauntlet of six road matches this Friday and Saturday in the ITA Kickoff Weekend.
The early-season strength of schedule remains difficult, with FAU playing tournament host Texas, Friday, Jan. 28 at noon. The following day, the Owls are scheduled to face either SMU or Rice at a time yet to be determined.
Thus far, the Owls have picked up wins over Middle Tennessee and Georgia State but have fallen to both Minnesota and Miami. Holding a 2-2 record on the season shows the squads ability to adapt and focus after a mid-year coaching change, especially with a roster comprised of two upperclassmen and five freshmen.
