BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic University women's soccer team will square off against Middle Tennessee on Friday night. The Conference USA match is set to begin at 7:00 p.m. in the FAU Soccer Stadium.

Owls' Sunday in Review
FAU (3-4-4, 1-0-2 C-USA), battled to a 1-1 draw against Charlotte last time out. The 49ers struck first in the first half, but the Owls found the equalizer in the 78
th minute.
Miracle Porter scored her third goal of the season off assists from
Erin McRae and
Thelma Hermannsdottir. Porter is tied with
Bri Austin for the team lead in goals this season. The duo is additionally tied for eighth in Conference USA in goals.

Owls' Friday in Preview
Middle Tennessee (5-5-1, 1-2-0 C-USA), is looking to bounce back after a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Old Dominion last time out. Peyton DePriest is Conference USA's leader in goals with eight on the campaign. DePriest has created scoring chances often, with a conference-high 52 shots on the year.

Owls' goalkeeper
Amit Cohen owns a goals against average of .824 on the year, which ranks her fourth in the conference. She has tallied 44 saves, also good for fourth in Conference USA.

Upper Hand
FAU is 4-1 in this head-to-head matchup dating back to 2016 and has outscored Middle Tennessee 7-2 in those games. The last meeting came in the spring 2021 season, where the Owls pulled out a 2-0 victory.

Sammy Vitols both scored for FAU, while
Amit Cohen registered eight saves in net to pitch the shutout.
