BOCA RATON, Fla. – Following their counterparts on the men's side, the Florida Atlantic University women's soccer team concludes a Friday night doubleheader at FAU Soccer Stadium, taking on Murray State at 7:30 p.m.

Owls' Monday in Review
The Owls (1-2-1) took on Michigan State at the beginning of this week, trailed early, equalized, and held off the Spartans offense the rest of the way in a 1-1 draw. Bri Austin's successful penalty kick marked her team-leading second goal of the season; on the defensive side, Amit Cohen set a career high with nine saves (with MSU attempting 26 shots)

Owls' Weekend in Preview
Murray State (2-1-0) topped Missouri State and another Conference USA squad, Louisiana Tech, before suffering its first loss this past Sunday, 2-1 to Xavier. The Racers, picked to finish second in the Ohio Valley Conference after going 9-2 in the spring, are thus far led by Abby Jones' three goals.

These two teams met once previously, in 2018, when the Racers took the decision on their home field by a 3-2 score.
