Soccer Hosts Keiser for Home Opener

BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic University men's soccer team (2-0) is set to host its first home soccer match of the 2021 fall slate, as the team hosts Keiser (2-0) Friday at 5 p.m. The match is the front end of a men's and women's doubleheader at FAU Soccer Stadium.

About the Owls

The Owls have commenced the season 2-0 after leaving Houston with back-to-back victories at the HBU Tournament
Ivan Mykhailenko leads the Owls with two goals for four points. The senior was the C-USA Co-Golden Boot Award winner last season
Luis Sailer Fidalgo has a team's most two assists
Neil Strauber has played all 180 minutes in goal for a 1.00 goals against average while having recorded five saves and one shutout
The Owls are one of three teams to begin the season with an undefeated record
The team was projected to finish sixth out of nine teams in the Conference USA Preseason Poll, as voted on by the C-USA coaches

Gavin Oldham was named SUN Coach of the Year last season and the team had a conference-best eight All-Conference performers and seven NAA All-American awards
This season, Cristobal Molina Cam and Lucas Jacobs lead the team with a goal for two points
Goalkeeper Felipe Godoy has started in the first two matches at net and has started the season with back-to-back shutouts
