– The Florida Atlantic University men's soccer team (2-0) is set to host its first home soccer match of the 2021 fall slate, as the team hosts Keiser (2-0) Friday at 5 p.m. The match is the front end of a men's and women's doubleheader at FAU Soccer Stadium.

- The Owls have commenced the season 2-0 after leaving Houston with back-to-back victories at the HBU Tournament
- Ivan Mykhailenko leads the Owls with two goals for four points. The senior was the C-USA Co-Golden Boot Award winner last season
- Luis Sailer Fidalgo has a team's most two assists
- Neil Strauber has played all 180 minutes in goal for a 1.00 goals against average while having recorded five saves and one shutout
- The Owls are one of three teams to begin the season with an undefeated record
- The team was projected to finish sixth out of nine teams in the Conference USA Preseason Poll, as voted on by the C-USA coaches
- Alonso Coello Camarero and Mykhailenko were tabbed to the 14-person C-USA Preseason Team
- The team has nine newcomers with 15 different countries being represented on the roster

- Keiser was picked to win The SUN conference Regular season championship for the third straight season, receiving 63 points and seven first-place votes
- The Seahawks finished 16-2-1 (10-0-0 TSC) last season and advanced to the NAIA quarterfinals. Keiser fell to eventual Nation Champions No. 4 Missouri Valley in penalty kicks
- Gavin Oldham was named SUN Coach of the Year last season and the team had a conference-best eight All-Conference performers and seven NAA All-American awards
- This season, Cristobal Molina Cam and Lucas Jacobs lead the team with a goal for two points
- Goalkeeper Felipe Godoy has started in the first two matches at net and has started the season with back-to-back shutouts

- The Owls have a 1-0 advantage over the Seahawks
- FAU defeated Keiser in 2019, 5-2. Jose Alastuey and Mykhailenko recorded goals while Blake Dean and Coello Camarero delivered assists

- FAU defeated Houston Baptist, 5-2 on Sunday night. The Owls' five goals is the most scored by the Owls against a Division I opponent since the 2013 season
- Mykhailenko recorded two goals for his fourth multi-goal match of his career. He is now tied for 10th all-time in career goals with 15
- Blake Dean, Vasilis Spinos and Davide Romeo recorded the other goals in the match. Tom Abrahamsson and Coello Camarero tallied assists in the game
- Neil Strauber came up with four saves on the night, including a key stop on HBU's PK try
- Tim Bernhardsson, Coello Camarero, Sailer Fidalgo and Strauber played all 90 minutes in the match
- Leo Keller and Micael Lervik made their Owl debuts on Sunday
