Brok Earns Postgraduate Scholarship

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Conference USA named Florida Atlantic University's Erica Brok a 2021 Jim Castañeda Postgraduate Scholarship Recipient, the league office announced Thursday.
Every year since 2008, C-USA awards the Jim Castañeda Postgraduate Scholarship to distinguished graduates selected by the league's faculty athletics representatives and the board of directors. Brok was FAU's lone 2021 selection.
A team captain, Brok has won an FAU-record 72 games individually and holds the most wins by a pair (71) alongside Mackenzie Morris. Brok collected AVCA Top Flight and CCSA All-Conference honors this past season while leading the Owls to their first ever CCSA Championship.
Brok, a 2021 CCSA All-Academic selection, graduated in April with a 3.842 GPA in mathematics and a minor in business administration.
"Erica Brok never ceases to amaze me," FAU coach Capri Grotowski said. "Such an honorable scholarship to such an honorable young lady. Erica has worked so hard in the classroom and on the sand...well deserved! Congratulations and go Owls!"
