Outstanding Performances
- Graduation - The Owls just wrapped up graduation ceremonies. Four players - Kaitlyn Burke, Fayth Davis, Gretchen Ebert and Kara Lokeinsky - have been honored as graduates, who have exhausted their eligibility. Two players have graduated, but have eligibility remaining: Maya Amm and Bailey Story
- Freshman centerfielder Kaitlyn Cunningham leads the league with five triples and teammate Sara Berthiaume is tied at No. 4 with two triples. Lynn Gardner has tossed 139.1 innings which is second among C-USA leaders and she is tied for the No. 8 spot with seven wins, tied at No. 5 with two saves, is No. 2 in appearances and T2 with 18 games started. Lokeinsky is T2 in games finished with 13 and is ranked the same in games in relief with 17. Defensively, Davis is ranked at the top with a fielding percentage of 1.000, freshman Zoey Jones is No. 5 in chances and No. 4 in putouts. Amm is No. 5 in assists and the duo of Jones and Amm are 1-2 in fielding double plays while the team is tops in the league. Behind the plate Burke leads the league with 14 would-be base thefts. As a team the Owls top the league with 11 triples, with 22 double plays turned and with 19 caught basestealers
- Lokeinsky has appeared in 17 games, all in relief. Among those outings she has 10 appearances in which she surrendered zero earned runs
- Go until you can go no more - That has been the motto for Gardner in recent weeks. The lefty hurler has tossed a team and Conference USA-high 139.1 innings. In each of the last two C-USA four-game weekends she has started three games and three weeks ago she appeared in all four. She sports a team-best 7-12 record and a team-low 3.83 ERA
- Building the right lineup - More than any other season FAU has looked for the right combination and has sought the best hitters for the lineup. In total, 22 Owls have made a plate appearance. One player who has made the best of each opportunity is freshman Jalynn Ford. She has 27 plate appearances and is batting .333 with nine hits, including a double, a triple and two home runs and eight RBI. More impressively, both homers have been pinch hits. The first was a two-run shot versus Pitt in the seventh. The second was a seventh inning three-run homer at Marshall to pull FAU within one at 6-5. Her double was a RBI double in the fourth
National Leaders
- The Owls are No. 8 nationally in doubles per game at 0.51 and No. 50 in triples per game at 0.26
