TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Florida Atlantic University's
Enrique Dimayuga ended his prolific season with a 28th-place finish in the NCAA Tallahassee Regional.
Though Dimayuga finished within the Tallahassee Regional's top-30, he did not advance to the NCAA Championship because he wasn't the first-ranked individual not on an advancing team. His appearance in an NCAA Regional was FAU's first since 2009.Â
Dimayuga, a
first-team All-Conference USA selection, played brilliantly for the Owls this season. His 71.67 stroke average ranks second in team history, and his Par 4 (4.0322) and Par 5 (4.6825) averages were program bests. The sophomore from London also led FAU with eight par-or-better rounds and two top-10-finishes.Â
The Owls and Dimayuga hope to make another postseason run in 2021-22. Â
