BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic University baseball has its final tune-up for postseason play on Tuesday night, finishing out the 2021 regular season with a road game in Coral Gables against Miami, and wrapping the seasonal three-game series with the Hurricanes in the process.
The Tuesday night contest will be streamed live on
ACC Network Extra, with first pitch scheduled for 6 p.m.

Owls' Weekend in Review
The Owls (29-23, 18-14 Conference USA) completed the league slate with a home series split against No. 19 Southern Miss, winning the first and fourth games of the series. The finish earned the team a No. 5 seed in the upcoming C-USA Championship and a first-round date with Old Dominion.

Owls' Midweek in Preview
Miami (29-16, 17-15 ACC) won two of three games this past weekend versus Georgia Tech, and are third in the ACC Coastal Division with three games to go. Grad transfer Christian Del Castillo, older brother of highly touted draft prospect Adrian, leads the Hurricanes with a .377 average (third best in the ACC). Adrian is at .305, and the siblings have combined for seven home runs and 75 RBI.

The Hurricanes won both games against FAU this year, March 9 in Coral Gables, 11-2, and March 23 in Boca Raton, 14-9. That latter matchup was the Owls' next-to-last midweek tilt, having only played C-USA matchups since (with the exception of a March 30 win at FGCU).
