BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic University women's tennis team (7-4) was scheduled to play their last four matches on the road. They began the swing with an impressive team effort to defeat UNF 4-3. Just this week, the squad has added a home match slated for April 19 versus Temple. This week FAU will continue its road matches with two on the campus of Conference USA member Charlotte. The Owls will first play James Madison at noon on Saturday and will play host Charlotte the following morning at 10:30 a.m.
These two opponents are both formidable foes. JMU is 8-2 on the season and defeated FAU, 5-2, in their only previous meeting on March 11, 2009. Charlotte carries the weight of being a C-USA opponent and has tallied a 16-5 record, including a perfect 13-0 home record. FAU holds a 3-1 all-time advantage over the 49ers, including a 4-0 win last March in Boca Raton.

FAU will return to Florida where they will travel an hour south to face Miami on April 16 and will complete the 2021 home regular season schedule by hosting Temple April 19.
