STANFORD, Calif. – The Florida Atlantic University men's golf team finished 17
th at The Goodwin, a three-day tournament featuring 28 teams, including three top-10 squads.
Max Sturdza posted a career-best round on Friday (66) and was FAU's top finisher overall. In a field of 146, Sturdza (213) tied for 33rd, with
Enrique Dimayuga (217) just behind at No. 53.

Evan Thompson and
Davis Lamb (225) finished 64
th, 68
th and 107
th, respectively.
"I'm proud of the way we fought this week," FAU coach
Ryan Jamison said. "We played a lot of great golf and I definitely saw improvement from last week. We are so close to really taking off."
Thompson was FAU's best performer in Round Three, as he posted an even 70 to finish with a score of 220.
The Owls will next appear the Bayou City Collegiate Classic in Pearland, Texas. Houston is hosting the tournament at the Westwood Golf Club from April 5-6. The Bayou City Collegiate Classic will be FAU's final tournament before the Conference USA Championships, which run April 26-29 in Texarkana, Arkansas.
