Moon, Adams Shine in Owls' Return to Paradise

BOCA RATON, Fla. – The 12th-ranked Florida Atlantic University beach volleyball team made a triumphant return to Paradise, defeating UAB and No. 14 Stetson on Day One of the FAU Beach Bash in Paradise.
In FAU's first home event since April 12, 2019, Kenley Adams and Courtney Moon delivered a game-clinching, third-set victory against No. 14 Stetson to bring their team to 2-0 on the day and 6-4 on the season.
Match One vs. UAB
The Owls earned two-set victories on Courts Four and Five, but lost Court Three. FAU's Court One (Erica Brok and Mackenzie Morris) and Court Two (Ellie Austin and Savannah Pesante) pairs were victorious in three sets, delivering their team a convincing win over the Blazers.

Adams and Moon earned the aforementioned game-clinching victory, with Brok and Morris collecting an equally-important third-set win a few moments prior. Jillienne Cangelosi and Kaila Dorish earned a two-set victory on Court Four, their second-straight two-set sweep.
