Owls Finish up UCF Home-and-Home on Tuesday

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic University baseball will take on UCF for the fourth and final time this season on Tuesday night, traveling to Orlando to play the Knights in the second road matchup this season between the schools.

Owls' Weekend in Review
The Owls (9-5) won the Sunday finale over Indiana State to take one of three against the Sycamores. With two hits, not only has Wilfredo Alvarez hit safely in five straight games, each of those were multi-hit efforts. He's batting 11-for-19, .579, during that span, and has taken over the team lead with a .379 average through 14 games. The senior shortstop also ties for the Conference USA lead with 22 hits, and is first among league hitters – and 12th in the nation – with 19 runs scored. Second in the conference in RBI with 19 is Nolan Schanuel, ranking him 25th in Division I.

Owls' Midweek in Preview
UCF (6-9) played North Florida four times in five days, twice at home and twice on the road. The Knights won three of four, rebounding from a four-game losing streak coming in. Gephry Pena is the team's top hitter for average, at .382, while Ben McCabe paces the power categories, with five home runs and 18 RBI.
