BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic University softball (3-15) will host their final non-conference games prior to starting the 2021 Conference USA season on March 21. Staying consistent, the Owls continue to play one of the more difficult schedules in the country. The have faced a top-25 team (two times) in each of the last two weekends and they will do it once more when the play host to UCF, ranked No. 24 in the latest USA Today/NFCA poll. It will be the 36th, 37th and 38th meetings between the schools with the Owls holding the slim 18-17 advantage. FAU also will welcome South Dakota to sunny South Florida for the first time.

- Zoey Jones led the Owls with a .538 batting average in the five games. The freshman was 7-for-13 with two doubles
- Riley Ennis hit .429 and recorded her second home run of 2021. She also was one of three Owls to record two RBI. Jalyn Ford and Sommer Baker also drove in two
- Run stoppers - Kaitlyn Cunningham (CF) and Bailey Story (C) teamed together to catch two runners trying to score in the same inningÂ
