– The Florida Atlantic University men's soccer team (7-4-2, 2-2-2 Conference USA) is set to play North Florida (4-6-1, 2-4 in Atlantic Sun Conference) on Tuesday at 7 p.m. FAU, who is coming off a 3-1 win over UAB this past weekend, is looking to clinch a winning regular season for the second consecutive year and could do so tomorrow.

- FAU stands at 7-4-2, while holding a 2-2-2 league mark
- Filip Jauk leads the way with eight goals for 16 points. The striker is tied for having the most goals in the league
- Luis Sailer Fidalgo holds a team's best six assists, tied for fourth most in the conference
- Ivan Mykhailenko is coming off his third game-winning goal of the season, tied for second in C-USA
- Neil Strauber has started in 13 matches with a 1.57 goals against average and 57 saves (most in C-USA)
- Davide Romeo and Jauk were named to the Top Drawer Midseason Top 100 Freshman List. Romeo logged in at No. 44 and Jauk is No. 56
- FAU stands in sixth in the C-USA standings with eight points
- The Owls average 1.92 goals per game and hold the slight edge in shots (153-148)
- FAU was projected to finish sixth out of nine teams in the C-USA Preseason Poll, as voted on by the league's head coaches
- Alonso Coello Camarero and Mykhailenko were tabbed to the 14-person C-USA Preseason Team
