– The Florida Atlantic University men's and women's swimming & diving teams will host Florida on Oct. 2. Both of the Owls' teams enter the meet at 1-0 after wins over Indian River in the 2021-22 opener.

The meet is set to begin at 10:00 a.m. at the FAU Aquatic Center. Live results are available via the Meet Mobile app.

The FAU women's team opened the 2021 campaign with a 187-113 victory over Indian River, while the men's team swam to a 156-143 win.

On the men's side,
Alec Peckmann took home CCSA Swimmer of the Week honors for his efforts in the opening meet. The senior posted three individual first-place finishes on the day, as he won the 200 free (1:41.03), 100 free (45.94) and 200 IM (1:52.91). Peckmann also swam the final leg on the 400 free relay squad (3:04.80).

Riley Trout of the women's team put forth a strong showing in the season opener winning all of her events. In her first collegiate meet, Trout took home first place in the 100 back (57.99) and 200 back (2:06.36). The freshman additionally won the 200 IM (2:11.10).
