Men’s Soccer Spring Slate Announced

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic University men's soccer head coach Joey Worthen has released the 2021 spring schedule, as announced on Friday. In Worthen's fourth year at the helm, the Owls will play six home matches and six on the road, including a competitive Conference USA slate.
FAU will open up the season against North Florida on Wednesday, Feb. 3 at FAU Soccer Stadium.
To wrap up non-conference play, the Owls will hit the road for Sunshine State showdowns at Jacksonville (Friday, Feb. 19 at 3 p.m.) and Florida Gulf Coast (Wednesday, Feb. 24 at 7 p.m.).
The Owls will kick off C-USA play at FIU on Saturday, March 6 at 2 p.m. FAU will then host its C-USA home opener against Kentucky on Saturday, March 13 at 2 p.m.
FAU's remaining C-USA home games are against South Carolina (Saturday, March 27 at 2 p.m.) and UAB (Saturday, April 17 at 2 p.m.). The other away matches in league play will be at Old Dominion (Sunday, March 21 at 10 a.m.), Marshall (Saturday, April 3 at 2 p.m.) and Charlotte (Saturday, April 10 at 2 p.m.).
The conference will not host a tournament this year, meaning the first-place team at the end of the regular season will win the C-USA Championship and receive an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament, which will begin on April 18.
