Kallmunzerova Named C-USA Player of the Week

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Natalie Kallmunzerova, Florida Atlantic University junior, has been named the Conference USA Women's Tennis Player of the Week. The honor is the first for the native of Prague, Czech Republic, and is the first for the Owls in 2020.
Kallmunzerova holds a perfect 5-0 dual match record, which includes a victory at No. 33-ranked Miami. Last week began with that victory at Miami (Sunday), then she gave way to a freshman to gain experience against a lesser Oakland team (Saturday) before following up with a road win versus North Florida (Monday) to remain perfect at 5-0.
Kallmunzerova has elevated her game in 2020. She was often forced into long rallies and needed to outwit her 2019 foe. As a junior, she has finished each match in two sets and she has been one of the first Owls to register a point each match.
