BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic University's women's tennis team (4-2) traveled to Jacksonville, Florida on Monday, where the Owls faced and fell to a tough UNF (8-1) squad, 4-2.
The dual match started with doubles play, seeing UNF take courts one and two, therefore, the point (the match on court three ended before a decision). The Osprey picked up the match's second point with a win at No. 1 singles. The Owls responded with wins by
May Kimhi and
Natalie Kallmunzerova to pull even with UNF at 2-2. The Osprey took a 3-2 lead with a win at No. 2 and all eyes then turned to the matches on courts three and four, where both forced a third and deciding set. The Owls fell on court four, giving the deciding point to UNF, ending the match on court three as it wouldn't affect the outcome.
- May Kimhi came off court six to take the Owls' first point
- Natalie Kallmunzerova recorded the Owls' second point with a win on court five and remained perfect in 2020 with a 5-0 mark
