BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic University women's soccer team, now receiving votes in the United Soccer Coaches Top 25, returns to the familiar setting of the FAU Soccer Stadium to begin a five-match homestand this weekend, hosting Dartmouth and North Florida.

Owls' Weekend in Preview
Dartmouth (2-0-0) comes into Boca first, having picked up wins against Pittsburgh and Syracuse. The dual victories helped earn Tracey Mills, who had a goal and an assist, Ivy League Player of the Week honors. The Big Green were chosen prior to the year to finish fourth in the league's preseason poll, after placing third a year ago with a 4-2-1 conference mark, while going 10-5-2 overall.
North Florida (3-0-1) had two comfortable wins last weekend, 3-1 over Presbyterian and 3-0 over Charleston Southern. Thais Reiss was chosen as ASUN Player of the Week, her second straight conference honor, and teammate Sophia Thompson is the reigning ASUN Defensive Player of the Week. Reiss leads the conference with five goals, including game-winners in each result a weekend ago. The Ospreys were 7-8-1 last year, 2-5-1 in the league, and were voted seventh in the ASUN preseason poll.
Opponent History
Regarding Dartmouth, this will be the third straight weekend (following Grand Canyon and Kansas) that the Owls face an opponent for the first time in program history.
FAU and UNF have met three times, with the Owls holding a 2-0-1 advantage. The series was bookended with wins, in 2005 (4-0) and 2015 (1-0). The tie came in 2009, a 1-1 stalemate in two overtimes.
