Florida Atlantic University's football team worked through its paces Wednesday morning with a concentration of getting their legs back in preparation for this weekend's game at Ohio State. The Owls will use Thursday as a walk-through and will have a "Fast Friday" practice prior to departing.
Kiffin's Korner
Head Coach Lane Kiffin
"Still a lot of work to do, just not much physical. A lot of it is mental. We are obviously going to play a great team. When you go play teams like that, you have to do everything to give yourself a chance to win, from coaches to players."
Have you decided on a starting quarterback?
"No, we have not. Like I have said before, I have a pretty good idea and can definitely see multiple guys playing. We will see."
Post-Practice Player Perspective
Ray Ellis on Ohio State, specifically after he was granted a sixth year to play due to injuries:
"I would just like to go out there and play with technique and show that I can play with anybody, really that's all. I'm not looking forward to it because it is Ohio State. I just want to go out there and play the game that I have always loved."
The Owls will return to the practice field 9:30 a.m. Thursday. Members of the media are asked to meet in the Oxley Center Lobby at 9:40 a.m. to receive their credential prior to going onto the fields.

This week's "Pads Off' segment will introduce you to wide receiver Tavaris "Pico" Harrison, and there will also be a "Where Are They Now" update on former Owl and present Philadelphia Eagles defensive back Cre'von LeBlanc, who continues to hold clinics for youth football players in his home area of Palm Beach County.
Inside the Owls Burrow with host Frank Forte airs on Fox Sports Florida Thursday, Aug. 29 at 4 p.m. and re-airs on Saturday, Aug. 31 at 9:30 a.m. on Fox Sports Florida.
