Florida Atlantic University will travel to West Lafayette, Indiana to face the Purdue University Boilermakers on Saturday, Sept. 24, 2022.
The contest will be the second 2022 trip to the Midwest for the Owls, as FAU is slated to play at Ohio University on Saturday, Sept. 3.
While Purdue will be a new opponent for the Owls, head coach Jeff Brohm is a familiar face for the FAU faithful. Brohm served as the Owls' quarterbacks coach in 2009, serving under the direction of Howard Schnellenberger (his former head coach at Louisville), who became the Owls' inaugural head coach. FAU is 1-2 all-time versus Brohm, each of the three coming while he served as WKU's head coach.

Note: As a reminder, the Winning in Paradise Tour begins June 4 at the Two Georges Boynton Beach at 6 p.m. The next stop will be June 18 at Funky Buddha Brewery in Oakland Park and the final stop will be June 25 at Two Georges Deerfield Beach. Each event is scheduled for a Tuesday night and will feature head football coach Lane Kiffin, head men's basketball coach Dusty May, head women's basketball coach Jim Jabir, head softball coach Joan Joyce and Director of Athletics Brian White, as well as other FAU head coaches and staff members. All tour stops are scheduled for 6-8 p.m. and will feature a Q&A session with the attending coaches. Live giveaways as well as food and drink specials, which showcase the restaurant host, also will be featured.
