49 FAU Student-Athletes Earn C-USA Commissioner's Academic Medal

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic University has 49 student-athletes who have earned the Conference USA Commissioner's Academic Medal for the 2018-19 academic year, the conference announced on Friday.
FAU's total of 49 student-athletes earning the honor is the second highest total for the school since joining C-USA in 2013.
Student-athletes who earn the Commissioner's Academic Medal have maintained a cumulative grade point average of 3.75 or higher. Student-athletes with a 3.0 GPA or better are named to the Commissioner's Honor Roll, which was released yesterday.
Beach volleyball led the Owls with nine members achieving the feat. They were followed closely by men's and women's soccer with six from each team on the list.
