FAU Athletics Set to Host 2018-19 Owlspys

Exactly one month from today, Florida Atlantic University student-athletes will come together for the 2018-19 Owlspys. The Owlspys, to be held in the Barry Kay Auditorium, 777 Glades Road, Boca Raton, Florida 33431, is scheduled for Monday, April 8. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. with the annual award presentation, organized and presented by the Student Athlete Advisory Committee, beginning at 6 p.m.

The annual event, organized by SAAC members, led by President Nick Swan, a senior pitcher on the baseball team, recognizes accomplishments on and away from the field of competition. Hosting the night's event are volleyball teammates Cailea Gibbs and Sydney Riggs. The duo will walk the Owls through a night of celebration, artistic talent, and laughing while reminiscing with classmates, coaches and family.

The event is free to student-athletes and athletic department staff members while fellow FAU students are asked to pay $5 to attend and all other guests are asked to pay $10 with the proceeds directly benefiting SAAC.
