Men's Golf Closes Out Day One of USF Invite

TAMPA, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic University men's golf team competed in the first day of the USF Invitational on Monday at the Tampa Palms Golf and Country Club. The Owls completed round one and began round two before the sun set. The second round will resume on Tuesday and then round three will be played shortly after.

- The Owls shot 305 (+17) for the first round and were 18-over through 17 holes in the second round
- Sully Zagerman carded a 71 for the first round and is 3-over in the second with one hole left. Zagerman has six birdies through the first 35 holes of the tournament to lead the team
- Lynes Behling shot 76 in round one and is 4-over in the second
- Patrick Poate is also 4-over in the second round and carded a 77 in the first
- Karan Nalam and Bruce Morrison, Jr. each shot an 81 in the first round. Nalam is currently 7-over in the second while Morrison is 9-over
- The Owls have the second most pars of the tournament with 104 total
