BOCA RATON, Fla, – The Florida Atlantic University women's basketball team (5-22, 2-12 C-USA) will conclude a four-game road swing and the road portion of the regular season at Middle Tennessee (19-8, 10-4 C-USA) on Saturday at 6 p.m. (EST). Â

ABOUT THE OWLS
- FAU will be looking to skid a three-game losing streak on Saturday at Middle Tennessee
- Saturday's game will be the end of a four-game road swing for the Owls that started in Texas at North Texas and Rice, continued at FIU and will now conclude at Middle Tennessee. The Owls close out the regular season on Thursday against Old Dominion in the Burrow for Senior Day
- Through 27 games, Juliette Gauthier is leading the Owls in scoring with 10.9 points per game. Myka Johnson Matthews is close behind, averaging 9.5 points. Abby Voss leads on the rebounding front, pulling down 5.8 boards per game. Glenisha Harkless has 51 assists on the season to lead the team
LAST TIME OUT
- The Owls faced FIU in Miami in their last outing
- Jamaria Williams led FAU in scoring with 20 points, 16 of which came in the fourth quarter as the Owls attempted to stage a comeback
- Amber Gaston crashed the boards for 10 rebounds and Juliette Gauthier also had nine boards
SCOUTING MIDDLE TENNESSEE
- The Blue Raiders will be playing with C-USA Championship seeding on the line. Middle
- Tennessee is currently in a tie with UAB for second place in the standings
- The Blue Raiders are led by a trio of double-digit scorers. A'Queen Hayes is the top scorer, averaging 15.6. Alex Johnson (15.6 ppg) and Taylor Sutton (10.4) follow closely behind
- Hayes is also the Blue Raiders' top rebounder, pulling down 7.4 boards per game
SERIES HISTORY
- Saturday will be the 25th meeting between FAU and Middle Tennessee and the second meeting this season
- Earlier this season, the Blue Raiders won, 74-55, in Boca Raton
- The Owls picked up their first win against Middle Tennessee in series history in 2009. The two teams had a close battle last season, but the Blue Raiders escaped with a 69-65 win
