Track & Field Unveils Indoor and Outdoor Schedule

2020 Indoor and Outdoor Schedule
BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic University track and field team has released its schedule for the indoor and outdoor season on Tuesday. Indoor season will commence on January 10 and finish up with the NCAA Championships in March. Outdoor season will run from mid-March through June.
Indoor season will be composed six invitationals plus Conference USA and NCAA Championships. The Owls will get the season rolling with back-to-back meets in Birmingham, Alabama from January 10-11. FAU will start out at the Blazer Invitational on Friday and close out the following day at the Vulcan Invitational.
The next weekend, FAU will head to Houston for the Leonard Hilton Invitational. FAU will then head to Boston to compete at the Harvard White & Crimson Invitational on January 31 and the Bruce Lehane Memorial Invitational on February 1.
After its' inaugural meet last season, the Owls will return to Columbia, South Carolina for the South Carolina Invitational from February 7-8 to wrap up the regular season. The Owls will then head back to Birmingham for the C-USA Indoor Championships spanning from February 22-23. The NCAA Indoor Championships will take place on March 13-14 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Outdoor season is set to kick off the weekend of March 20 for the Hurricane Invitational in Miami. This will mark one of five meets the Owls will compete in during outdoor season. The following weekend, the team will participate at the UCF Knights Invite from March 27-28 and on the next week, those who qualify will head to Gainesville, Florida for the UF Relays from March 2-4. The Owls will round out their fourth straight weekend of competition at the Miami Alumni Invitational from March 10-11.
After a week off, the team will finish out the regular season at the UCF Team Invitational on Friday, May 1. The C-USA Outdoor Championships will be hosted in San Antonio, Texas by UTSA from May 14-17. First round of the NCAA Championships will take place in Lexington, Kentucky from May 28-30 and the NCAA Finals will be back in Austin, Texas from May 10-12.
