BOCA RATON, Fla. – For the last few weeks, Florida Atlantic University senior tight end Harrison Bryant has seen his name attached to many lists, awards, and honors. He adds another, and another first ever for an FAU football player, as with Thursday's inclusion on the Football Writers Association of America (FWAA) All-America First Team, he can now be officially denoted as an unanimous All-American.
Â
Each season, the NCAA uses five outlets' honorees to determine, first, consensus All-Americans (three of five); then, in more rare cases, unanimous when a player is selected to all five. Bryant has been named as the First Team tight end for each NCAA-recognized organization: Walter Camp Football Foundation (Dec. 12), Associated Press (Dec. 16), Sporting News (Dec. 17), AFCA (Dec. 18), and now, the FWAA.

Bryant will finish his career as the most highly decorated player to ever wear an Owl uniform, with this cumulative honor coming after he became the program's first national individual honoree as the John Mackey Award winner.
