BOCA RATON, Fla. -Â The Florida Atlantic University volleyball team returns to Boca Raton to host UTSA and North Texas this weekend. The Owls play the Roadrunners and the Mean Green at 7 p.m. on Friday and noon on Sunday, respectively. FAU enters the weekend fourth in Conference USA with a 6-2 record. UTSA is in fifth place at 6-3, while North Texas is third with a 7-2 league mark.

Last Week: FAU (12-7) won both of its matches last weekend, sweeping Southern Miss on Friday, then beating UAB in four sets on Sunday.
Zuri Smith had 15 total blocks in the two contests, winning her second C-USA Defensive Player of the Week award of the season.

History: UTSA has won all eight previous meetings with FAU, including a four-set victory last year in San Antonio.

The Owls lead the all-time series with North Texas 8-4.
Massiel Matos had 21 kills in FAU's win during the 2018 regular season, but the Mean Green got their revenge by eliminating the Owls in the first round of the C-USA Tournament.
