10/11/2019 8:46:00 PM | Men's Soccer
Both teams were held off the scoreboard until the 21st minute, as Keiser capitalized first. The lead did not last for long, as the Owls had an answer at the 26th minute with a goal scored by Jose Alastuey, assisted by Blake Dean. In the 32nd minute, Keiser struck once more off a goal by Miguel Cruz Zarraluqui, who had the Seahawks' two goals on the night.
FAU came out in full force in the second period with four goals off 16 shots. The first goal of the period was scored in the 51st minute by David Schwartzman with the assist from Alonso Coello Camarero. Seven minutes later, Schwartzman struck once again to claim his second goal of the night with an assist off Alex Alexis.
At the 69th minute, both Graeme Pratt and Keiser's Giorgio Resnati were issued red cards and both teams were down to 10 players a piece. Despite being down a player, the Owls were not done on offense. Alvaro Rodriguez capitalized on a golden opportunity in the box to claim his first goal of the season at the 87th minute. Two minutes later, Ivan Mykhailenko would put the icing on the cake for the Owls at the 89th minute to solidify a 5-2 victory.
