The Florida Atlantic University volleyball team finished the 2018 season first in the nation in kills per set and assists per set.

As a team, the Owls averaged 15.32 kills per set and 14.55 assists per set to end the year No. 1 in both categories. Those numbers helped FAU to its most successful season since 2005 as the team won 21 matches. The Owls' current home winning streak sits at a school-record 15.

Individually, senior setter
Ivone Martinez led the nation in assists per set for the second season in a row. Martinez averaged 12.51 helpers per set and was named Conference USA Setter of the Year. She finished her career second in school history with 3,466 assists.
