Men's Soccer Travels to FGCU

BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic University men's soccer team will hit the road for the first of two games this week. The Owls will face FGCU in Fort Myers on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
LAST TIME OUT
The Owls (2-4-0, 1-1-0 C-USA) fell in conference play against New Mexico last Saturday at FAU Soccer Stadium. It was the first home loss of the season for FAU and it came against the highest scoring offense in Conference USA.
ABOUT THE OPPONENT
FGCU (4-2-1) was picked to finish second in the Atlantic Sun this season and currently lead the league with a 1-0-0 record.
The Eagles are led by Shak Adams with five goals this season along with three assists for 13 points. O'Vonte Mullings is close behind with eight points (three goals, two assists). Keeper Gustavo Vasconcelos is the reigning ASUN Defensive Player of the Week after making 12 saves and giving up only one goal through 200 minutes of play last week.
UP NEXT FOR THE OWLS
The Owls will return home on Saturday to face Stetson. It will be the last home non-conference matchup of the season for FAU. The match is set for a 6 p.m. start.
