Dusty May Named Dick Vitale’s Coach of the Week

BOCA RATON, Fla. - Florida Atlantic University Head Men's Basketball Coach Dusty May was named Coach of the Week by ESPN's Dick Vitale on Monday.
May led the Owls to a 73-71 overtime win at Illinois on Saturday. The victory came despite FAU missing three starters due to injury and was the Owls' first overtime win since a 79-77 win over Ohio State on Dec. 6, 2016. It also was FAU's ninth nonconference win of the year, tying for the most since the Owls moved to the Division I level.
