CORAL GABLES, Fla. -Â A tough shooting performance was the culprit in the Florida Atlantic University men's basketball team's 75-55 loss to Miami on Saturday. FAU drops to 8-4 with the defeat.
The Start
The Hurricanes were on fire from the floor to start the contest, building a 17-point lead in the game's first 11 minutes. The lead was 23 at the half, 46-23, in UM's favor.

In the second half, UM was able to maintain its fast start and the margin increased to as many as 32 after the break.

The Finish
Despite their offensive struggles, the Owls kept fighting and closed the game on a 19-9 run to account for the final score. Jaylen Sebree scored 11 points during the streak.

·         Anthony Adger tied for the game high with 19 points. He also chipped in four rebounds, two assists and two steals
·         Jaylen Sebree scored 13 of his 18 points in the second half
·         Michael Forrest posted five points, five assists and four rebounds
